The Client’s Situation
Our client had been exhaustingly trying to buy a home for many months before engaging us.
All of the homes for sale in her desired area were way above their budget, and it seemed at this point, that they wouldn’t be able to get into the red-hot property market.
They were looking for a solid home with renovation potential, walking distance to light rail and ideally have a north facing backyard.
Our Strategy as Buyer’s Agent in Sydney
We advised against a few properties that our client wanted to make an offer on, as our research showed that the homes were over-priced and there were hidden structural issues with the building.
Those particular homes sold for much less because of these issues and saved our client from buying a compromised asset.
We eventually shortlisted a deceased estate, that our client loved, although the selling agent was adamant it was to go to auction.
Despite initial pushback we proceeded to negotiate until we bought pre-auction, below what our client asked us to pay.
They were thrilled with the result and looking forward to renovating their new home.
