Our clients were looking for a family home, in a premium school catchment, and with great access to public transport and the CBD.

The home needed at least 2 large bedrooms, ideally 2 bathrooms, parking (preferred), a private backyard space, a quiet location, renovated and ‘move in’ ready.

They realised that this was a very highly sought-after type of property, and a popular price category, and decided they could use some professional assistance.

They were referred to us by some recent happy clients, and engaged us to assist.

 

Buyers Agent’s Solution

We immediately contacted agents in our network and came across a property that satisfied ALL of our clients criteria. A renovated and spacious two bedroom terrace, with scope to add a third in the existing attic, in a quiet cul-de-sac street, only 50 m from a children’s playground and one block away from Centennial Park, a short level walk to shopping and transport, and in our clients preferred premium Woollahra Public School catchment. Having two level gardens, one off the kitchen and one off the living area, it was a perfect place for small children.

We obtained access for our clients to inspect the property before it was to come to the public market. Our clients inspected the property and loved it straight away. However, being the first property they had inspected with us, they wanted to ensure it was the best property available for them in their budget. So we launched into a full scale search, locating another 17 properties that matched their criteria, six of those also being either 'pre' or 'off' market also. We inspected all these properties together, and from these, we shortlisted another two properties that our clients also liked.

We began negotiating between the selling agents of all three shortlisted properties. We eventually secured our clients' preferred property, just one week into the public marketing campaign, at a price they were very happy with.
